Aabaha, Inc. announces the Aabaha Samman Awards as part of the Aabaha Art & Theater Festival (AATF) 2026, to be held August 14–16, 2026 at The Eagle Theatre @ Sugar Hill, GA. The Aabaha Samman is Aabaha’s signature recognition honoring individuals whose work has made a lasting impact on theatre and community arts, celebrating artistic excellence and cultural leadership beyond borders. Among the 2026 honorees is Dibyendu Paul, a distinguished playwright, actor, and director, recognized for over four decades of contributions to theatre and for fostering cultural exchange between the United States and India. Trained under renowned theatre masters, Paul has presented acclaimed productions across both countries and is widely respected for mentoring artists and bridging East–West theatrical traditions. AATF 2026 will feature eight+ stage productions, an art exhibition, and a seminar/community dialogue. Additional details will be announced soon.
